	At VEL TECH placement is not an annual event. It is a daily affair. 188 Companies conducted their campus selection process in 227 days during 2007-08.
	VEL TECH has emerged the nodal centre for recruitment drive for cluster of educational institutions located in this part of the State.
	As many as 87,149 students of various institutions appeared for online testing, interviews and tests.
	TCS and CTS have accredited VEL TECH for campus selection.
